100 Pencapaian Dato Seri @NajibRazak

Berikut ialah antara pembaharuan yang dibawa dan pencapaian yang dilakar Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak sepanjang empat tahun berkhidmat sebagai Perdana Menteri keenam Malaysia, sejak dilantik pada 3 April 2009

1. KESEJAHTERAAN RAKYAT/ PRODUK 1MALAYSIA

* 5 April 2009 - Memperkenal konsep 1Malaysia: Rakyat Didahulukan Pencapaian Diutamakan.

* 11 Julai 2009 - Sempena genap 100 hari menjadi perdana menteri, Najib umum11 langkah mesra rakyat antaranya penubuhan Tabung Amanah Saham 1Malaysia.

* 7 Jan 2010 - Menubuhkan Klinik 1Malaysia untuk golongan berpendapatan rendah menjalani rawatan dengan bayaran RM1.

* 31 Jan 2010 - Menubuhkan Tabung Penyelenggaraan Satu Malaysia (TP1M) dengan peruntukan RM37.6 juta.

* 28 Jan 2010 - Memperkenal Program 1AZAM (Akhiri Zaman Miskin) bertujuan membina keupayaan golongan ini dan mewujudkan peluang pekerjaan melalui gabungan pekerjaan dan keusahawanan.

* 19 Feb 2011 - Lancar Program Transformasi Kedai Runcit Kecil (Tukar) sebagai usaha memodenkan peruncit kecil dan sekaligus membantu mereka meningkatkan daya saing.

* 22 Jun 2011 - Membangunkan Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia (sehingga 28 Feb 2013, terdapat 87 KR1M dan kerajaan menyasarkan 90 lagi KR1M beroperasi tahun ini).

* 7 Okt 2011 - Dalam pembentangan Belanjawan 2012, Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) sebanyak RM500 diberi kepada isi rumah berpendapatan RM3,000 sebulan ke bawah.

* 4 Julai 2011 - Mengilhamkan Projek Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA).

* 7 Julai 2011 - Menu Rakyat 1Malaysia diperkenal dengan harga siling RM2 dan juadah tengah hari pada harga RM4 (Sebanyak 3,572 premis menawarkan menu itu).

* 7 Julai 2011 - Lancar projek My Rapid Transit (MRT), kaedah pengangkutan utama Malaysia ke arah memperkukuh sistem pengangkutan awam negara.

* 19 Dis 2011 - Lancar televisyen Internet dan mobil pertama negara, 1Malaysia TV.

* 18 Feb 2012 - Menubuhkan Pusat Transformasi Luar Bandar (RTC) pertama di Gopeng, Perak dan beberapa lagi dibuka di Kelantan, Melaka dan Pahang.

* 23 Jun 2012 - Lancar Pusat Transformasi Bandar (UTC) pertama di Melaka dan pada 22 Sept tahun yang sama,sebuah lagi UTC dibuka di Pudu Sentral.

* 24 Jun 2012 - Lancar program Teksi Rakyat 1Malaysia (TR1Ma) dengan insentif hampir RM35 juta untuk golongan pemandu teksi.

* 7 Julai 2012 - Memperkenal Pelan Induk Perusahaan Kecil Sederhana (PKS) bagi membawa pembangunan PKS ke peringkat lebih tinggi menerusi peningkatan produktiviti.

* 14 Julai 2012 - Lancar Kedai Kain Rakyat 1Malaysia (KKR1M) sebagai usaha berterusan kerajaan membantu meringankan beban rakyat.

* 15 Julai 2012 - Lancar 1Malaysia For Youth (1M4U), program kesukarelawan dalam kalangan rakyat berbilang kaum berteraskan gagasan 1Malaysia.

* 7 Ogos 2012 - Memperkenal kad '1Malaysia Privilege Card' khusus buat 241,000 anggota dan pegawai polis dan tentera.

* 28 Sept 2012 - Melaksanakan pemberian pusingan kedua Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) dan diperluas kepada individu bujang berumur 21 tahun ke atas.

* 12 Nov 2012 - Memperkenal Pusat Panggilan 1Malaysia (1MOCC) yang beroperasi 24 jam sehari bagi melonjakkan perkhidmatan awam ke tahap bitara.

* 15 Feb 2013 - Lancar Program Kebajikan Rakyat 1Malaysia (KARISMA @Hati Rakyat) inisiatif terbaharu bagi membantu rakyat berpendapatan rendah dan miskin dengan peruntukan sebanyak RM50 juta diagihkan kepada 200,000 penerima.

* 19 Mac 2013 - Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) dijadikan inisiatif tahunan.

* 16 Mac 2013 - Mini UTC pertama dibuka di Kompleks Perniagaan dan Komuniti Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.


2. HAK ASASI DAN KESELAMATAN NEGARA

* 3 April 2009 - Mengumumkan pembebasan 13 tahanan Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri serta membuat kajian semula akta itu. (dalam perutusan sulungnya menerajui kerajaan)

* Pada tarikh yang sama, Najib mengumumkan kerajaan menarik balik larangan penerbitan akhbar Harakah dan Suara Keadilan yang digantung sebulan sebelum itu.

* 9 Julai 2009 - Tidak membenarkan negara dan sistem perbankannya digunakan bagi transaksi pencambahan senjata nuklear.

* 15 Sept 2011 (Sempena Hari Malaysia 16 Sept)- Memansuhkan Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri (ISA) selain mengkaji semula secara komprehensif Akta Mesin Cetak dan Penerbitan 1984 serta Seksyen 27 Akta Polis 1967. 

* 5 Okt 2011 - Memansuhkan Akta Buang Negeri 1959 (Akta 79) setelah tidak diguna pakai sejak 34 tahun lepas, mansuh Akta Kediaman Terhad 1933, umum pembebasan serta merta kesemua 125 individu yang ditahan mengikut akta itu, lebih 200 waran yang belum diserahkan, dibatalkan.

* 24 Nov 2011 - Membentang Rang Undang-undang Perhimpunan Aman 2011 di Dewan Rakyat yang antara lain keperluan untuk mendapatkan lesen perhimpunan akan dihapuskan.

* 24 Nov 2011 - Mansuh tiga Proklamasi Darurat 1966, 1969 dan 1977. Bebaskan 36 tahanan di bawah Ordinan Darurat.

* 19 April 2012 - Pindaan Seksyen 15 Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti (AUKU) 1974 diluluskan di Dewan Rakyat, yang memberi kelonggaran kepada mahasiswa mencapai usia 21 tahun untuk berpolitik.

* 28 Sept 2012 - Ketika pembentangan Belanjawan 2013, kerajaan bersetuju menubuhkan 1,000 Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (URB) dengan peruntukan RM20 juta.

* 28 Sept 2012 - Pemberian sumbangan RM1,000 secara sekali bayar kepada bekas tentera yang bersara kurang daripada 21 tahun perkhidmatan serta tidak berpencen. Seramai 224,000 bekas tentera mendapat manfaat.

* 15 Dis 2012 - Memperkenal Program Pengiktirafan Veteran 1Malaysia untuk kebajikan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM).

* 7 Mac 2013 - Perdana menteri beri amaran kepada penceroboh Sulu yang masih bersembunyi di Sabah bahawa mereka tiada pilihan lain selain meletak senjata dan menyerah diri.

* 11 Mac 2013 - Penyerataan pangkat-pangkat dalam perkhidmatan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) dan Polis Diraja Malaysia dengan Perkhidmatan Awam Am.

* 25 Mac 2013 - Mewujudkan Zon Selamat Sabah Timur (ESSZONE) meliputi 10 daerah sebagai memberi asas perundangan kepada Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM).

* 30 Mac 2013 - Najib umum penambahan 1,000 lagi unit URB.


3. PENTADBIRAN


* 9 April 2009 - Najib memperkenal Petunjuk Prestasi Utama (KPI) bagi menilai prestasi anggota kabinetnya -- menteri dan timbalan Menteri - dalam mencapai matlamat pentadbirannya "Rakyat Didahulukan, Pencapaian Diutamakan".

* 18 Julai 2009 - Melakukan pembaharuan dalam sektor perkhidmatan awam dengan cadangan jawatan utama sektor itu dibuka kepada sektor swasta dan Syarikat Berkaitan Kerajaan (GLC) selain Perkhidmatan Tadbir dan Diplomatik (PTD).

* 27 Julai 2009 - Memperkenal Penunjuk Prestasi Utama (KPI) enam teras Bidang Keberhasilan Utama Negara (NKRA) dan melantik Datuk Idris Jala sebagai Ketua Eksekutif (CEO) Unit Pengurusan Prestasi dan Penyampaian (Pemandu). (Bidang utama pada KPI itu ialah - mengurangkan jenayah, membanteras rasuah, membuka luas peluang pendidikan yang termampu dan berkualiti, meningkatkan taraf kehidupan masyarakat miskin, menambah baik infrastruktur di luar bandar dan menambah baik pengangkutan awam)

* 27 Jan 2010 - Perdana menteri lancar pelan induk pelaksanaan GTP yang berkaitan dengan enam NKRA.

* 8 Feb 2010 - Najib garis empat tonggak utama untuk dilaksanakan oleh pentadbiran awam bagi menjayakan agenda negara sepanjang tahun itu, iaitu Ggagasan 1Malaysia, Rakyat Didahulukan, Pencapaian Diutamakan; Program Transformasi Kerajaan (GTP); Model Ekonomi Baharu dan Rancangan Malaysia Ke-10 (RMK10).

* 23 Feb 2010 - Umum peruntukan sebanyak RM3.4 bilion kepada Sarawak menerusi NKRA bagi merancakkan semua projek pembangunan di negeri itu terutamanya di kawasan luar bandar.

* 23 Feb 2010 - Umum peruntukan khas RM35 juta untuk tiga projek memajukan kehidupan rakyat di empat skim penempatan semula Kawasan Pemerintah Keselamatan Rajang (Rascom) di Sibu Sarawak.

* 4 April 2011 - Perdana menteri mahu setiap anggota pentadbiran awam terap empat elemen penting yang terkandung dalam 'Strategi Lautan Biru Kebangsaan' dalam pengurusan tugas mereka, iaitu 'mengurang', 'menghapus', 'mewujud' dan 'menambah peluang'.

* 28 Sept 2012 - Tambahan bonus sebulan gaji bagi penjawat awam yang bayaran pertama akan dibuat pada Disember 2012, manakala sebulan lagi pada Januari 2013 dan bayaran RM500 kepada pesara kerajaan.

* 26 Ogos 2012 - Memperkenal Strategi Lautan Biru Kebangsaan 7 (NBOS 7) iaitu inisiatif menghubungkan antara UTC dan RTC supaya melaluinya produk makanan dan hasil pertanian boleh dibawa ke bandar secara berskala besar.

* 19 Mac 2013 - Pembentangan laporan tahunan Program Transformasi Negara (sebahagian besar matlamat GTP dan ETP berjaya dicapai)

* 25 Mac 2013 - Meluluskan tuntutan Dana Pencen, imbuhan tetap perumahan, pembayaran sagu hati tamat perkhidmatan dan enyelarasan caruman Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) kepada tujuh agensi Badan Berkanun yang Diasingkan Saraan BBDS).


4. EKONOMI DAN KEWANGAN 

* 10 Mac 2009 - Mengumumkan Pakej Rangsangan Ekonomi Kedua dan mekanisme pelaksanaannya.

* 22 Apr 2009 - Melakukan liberalisasi ke atas 27 sub sektor perkhidmatan.

* 27 Apr 2009 - Mengumumkan liberalisasi sektor kewangan negara.

* 27 Apr 2009 - Malaysia menjadi negara pertama mempunyai institusi kewangan Islam mega dengan modal berbayar sekurang-kurangnya AS$1 bilion. 

* 15 Mei 2009 - Sebuah institut jaminan kewangan, Danajamin Nasional Berhad ditubuhkan bagi memudahkan syarikat mendapat akses lebih baik kepada pasaran bon Malaysia.

* 24 Jun 2009 - Najib syor supaya diwujudkan entiti Baitulmal di peringkat kebangsaan bagi menyelaras harta milik orang Islam Malaysia.

* 30 Jun 2009 - Najib mengumumkan garis panduan pelaburan secara komprehensif iaitu Garis Panduan Pelabur Asing (FIC).

* 1 Julai 2009 - Perdana menteri lancar Felda Global Ventures (Felda Global) yang menjadi jentera komersil bersepadu tunggal kumpulan Felda.

* 23 Okt 2009 - Najib buat pertama kali membentangkan Bajet 2010 di Dewan Rakyat yang bertemakan `1Malaysia, Kemakmuran ersama' dengan peruntukan RM191.5 bilion.

* 23 Dis 2009 - Memperkenal semula Cukai Keuntungan Hartanah Sebenar (RPGT) dari jualan hartanah tanpa mengira tahun hartanah itu dibeli.

* 30 Mac 2010 - Mengumumkan Model Ekonomi Baharu (MEB) yang menggariskan lapan inisiatif pembaharuan strategik.

* 10 Jun 2010 - Membentangkan Rancangan Malaysia Ke-10 (RMK10).

* 25 Okt 2010 - Lancar Program Transformasi Ekonomi (ETP) dengan 18 projek permulaan (EPP).

* 11 Jan 2011 - Umum 19 lagi EPP yang akan menjana pelaburan hampir RM67 bilion.


5. LUAR NEGARA

* 10 April 2009 - Mengetuai delegasi Malaysia sebagai Perdana Menteri ke Sidang Kemuncak Asean ke-14 dan Sidang Kemuncak berkaitan, di Pattaya, Thailand

* 3 Jun 2009 - Pemimpin negara luar pertama diberi penghormatan berucap di Great Hall of the People, Beijing, China sempena lawatan rasmi.

* 6 Okt 2009 - Merupakan pemimpin Malaysia pertama dalam sejarah hubungan Malaysia dengan Unesco selama 50 tahun yang menyampaikan ucaptama pada sesi pembukaan persidangan Unesco di Paris, France.

* 30 Sept 2009 - Najib umum kerjasama ekonomi antara Malaysia dan Arab Saudi menerusi penubuhan syarikat usaha sama yang bermodalkan AS$2.5 bilion (RM8.65 bilion) bagi mengendalikan aliran pelaburan langsung asing (FDI) dari Asia Barat serta membuat pelaburan strategik dalam projek berimpak tinggi di negara ini.

* 26 Okt 2009 - Perjanjian Perdagangan Bebas (FTA) antara Malaysia dan New Zealand dimeterai.

* 12 April 2010 - Mengadakan pertemuan empat mata dengan Presiden Barack Obama di Pusat Konvensyen Walter E.Washington i Washington, Amerika Syarikat.

* 27 Sept 2010 - Pada ucapan sulungnya di Perhimpunan Agung Pertubuhan Bangsa-bangsa Bersatu (PBB) di New York, Amerika Syarikat, Najib menggesa semua negara supaya "memilih kesederhanaan dan menolak ekstremism".

* 12 Julai 2011 - Mengadakan lawatan rasmi ke United Kingdom, dan telah menjemput ketua-ketua industri negara tersebut untuk meneroka peluang pelaburan di Malaysia.

* 18 Mei 2011 - Menghadiri "Invest Malaysia New York 2011" di New York, Amerika Syarikat dengan menarik pelaburan baru antara RM5 dan RM6 bilion pelaburan.

* 15 Okt 2012 - Menjadi saksi kepada acara bersejarah permeteraian perjanjian damai antara kerajaan Filipina dan Barisan embebasan Islam Moro (MILF) di Manila, Filippina.

* 22 Jan 2013 - Merupakan perdana menteri Malaysia pertama menjejak kaki di bumi Palestin sempena lawatan kemanusiaannya ke Gaza.

6. TEKNOLOGI DAN INOVASI

* 24 Julai 2009 - menubuhkan Majlis Teknologi Hijau bagi mempromosi teknologi hijau dan amalannya.

* 15 Sept 2009 - mengumumkan Pasukan F1 1Malaysia yang dikendalikan anak tempatan dalam bidang pemotoran.

* 28 Okt 2009 - Umum kajian semula Dasar Automotif Nasional (NAP) membabitkan 18 langkah baharu termasuk mewajibkan kenderaan penumpang berusia lebih 15 tahun membuat pemeriksaan di Pusat Pemeriksaan Kenderaan Berkomputer (Puspakom) sebagai syarat memperbaharui cukai jalan mulai tahun depan, memansuhkan sepenuhnya permit import (AP) terbuka kenderaan terpakai mulai 2016 dan AP francais menjelang 2021.

* 29 Okt 2009 - Pusat Inovasi Negara (MyNIC) dan rangkaian Pusat Kecemerlangan Inovasi (iCoE) diwujudkan bagi menggalakkan kegiatan kreatif dan inovasi sebagai sumber komersial baru negara.

* 17 Dis 2009 - Najib mengumumkan komitmen Malaysia mengguna pakai petunjuk bagi pengurangan secara sukarela pelepasan arbon atau gas rumah hijau sehingga 40 peratus daripada intensiti Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK) menjelang 2020 berbanding tahap 2005 pada Persidangan Perubahan Iklim Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu 2009 (COP 15) di Denmark.

* 26 Jan 2010 - melancarkan Skim Pembiayaan Teknologi Hijau (SPTH) yang merupakan komitmen kerajaan dalam memajukan sektor itu. Ia sejajar dengan akujanji Kuala Lumpur pada Sidang Kemuncak Perubahan Iklim, bagi mengurangkan pelepasan karbon dan gas rumah hijau sekali gus membantu memulihara persekitaran untuk generasi akan datang.

* 24 Mac 2010 - Umum empat insentif dalam Inisiatif Jalur Lebar Negara (NBI) untuk mentransformasi Malaysia daripada negara berpendapatan sederhana kepada negara maju.

* 10 November 2010 - Kerajaan mengumumkan langkah untuk meningkatkan nilai KDNK dengan menambah kadar penggunaan jalur lebar di negara ini sehingga mencapai tahap 50 peratus menjelang akhir tahun depan daripada hanya 24 peratus ketika ini.

* 8 Sept 2011 - Lancar Rangka Kerja dan Sistem Penilaian Bandar Raya Rendah Karbon bertujuan mengurangkan 40 peratus enghasilan karbon dioksida di bandar menjelang 2020.

* 7 Julai 2011 - Memperkenal Kelestarian Yang Dicapai Melalui Kecekapan Tenaga dengan pemberian rebat tunai RM200 kepada engguna domestik yang membeli pendingin hawa dan peti sejuk yang diberi taraf 5-bintang.

7. POLITIK 

* 26 Mac 2009 - Diisytihar sebagai presiden Umno yang baharu, tanpa bertanding, pada Perhimpunan Agung Umno 2008 di Dewan erdeka, Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC).

* 24 April 2009 - Dilantik sebagai pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Selangor.

* 15 Ogos 2011 - Mengumumkan pembentukan Jawatankuasa Pemilih Parlimen yang dianggotai wakil kerajaan BN dan parti pembangkang bagi membincangkan reformasi pilihan raya.

* 29 Nov 2012 - Melancarkan buku bertajuk 'Transformasi Politik:Mendaulatkan Hak Asasi Serta Demokrasi Pemerintahan Rakyat untuk Rakyat', yang memperinci kewajaran setiap transformasi dilaksana kerajaan.

* 20 Feb 2013 - Menandatangani Ikrar Integriti Pilihan Raya Transparency International dan memperteguh komitmen beliau dalam memerangi rasuah terutama dalam pilihan raya umum ke-13.

8. PENGIKTIRAFAN DUNIA KEPADA MALAYSIA DI BAWAH PENTADBIRAN NAJIB 

* Laporan Kemudahan Menjalankan Perniagaan 2011 oleh Bank Dunia, Malaysia tersenarai dalam kedudukan 20 teratas dan berkongsi kedudukan pertama di dunia dari segi kemudahan mendapatkan pinjaman perniagaan. BACA SINI

* Kajian Global Peace Index (GPI) 2011 mendapati Malaysia ialah negara ke-19 paling selamat daripada 153 negara di seluruh unia. Malaysia juga diletakkan sebagai negara paling aman di Asia Tenggara dan keempat di Asia Pasifik selepas New Zealand, Jepun dan Australia.

* Laporan World Economic Forum 2012 menyaksikan Malaysia naik lima anak tangga dalam senarai daya saing ekonomi dunia erbanding tahun sebelumnya, menjadikan Malaysia antara 21 buah negara paling kompetitif ekonominya di dunia.

* Syarikat perunding A.T Kearney iktiraf Malaysia sebagai negara 10 teratas dalam Indeks Keyakinan Pelaburan Langsung Asing bagi tahun 2012.

* World Bank Ease of Doing Business Report 2013 meletakkan Malaysia negara ke-12 paling mesra perniagaan di dunia.

* Laporan World Competitiveness Yearbook 2012/2013 mendapati Malaysia negara ke-14 paling berdaya saing. BACA SINI

* Malaysia sebagai negara ke-10 bagi destinasi menarik pelaburan langsung dalam Indeks Keyakinan Pelaburan Langsung Asing 2012.

9. PENDIDIKAN

* 25 Jan 2010 - 20 daripada 10,000 sekolah dipilih sebagai Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (SBT).

* 7 Okt 2011 - Memperuntuk bantuan tunai RM100 buat semua pelajar sekolah dan RM200 baucar buku untuk pelajar universiti. - Bernama

The Punjab Rape Festival In India Begins This Week

Punjab, INDIA — Men in India are already beginning to celebrate as the annual Punjab Rape Festival is just days away. Every non-married girl age 7-16 will have the chance to flee to safety or get raped.

Madhuban Ahluwalia who heads up the annual festival told reporters why the event is so important. “This is a long time tradition in Punjab dating back thousands of years,” says Ahluwalia. “We rape the evil demons out of the girls, otherwise they will cheat on us and we will be forced to kill them. So it is win-win for everyone.”

The Punjab Rape Festival began in 43 BC when Baalkrishan Tamil Nadu raped everyone in his village of Ludhiana. Baalkrishan Tamil Nadu is remembered every year at this event, in fact the trophy given to the man with the most rapes is called ‘The Baalkrishan’.

23-year-old Harikrishna Majumdar tells reporters that he has been training all year for this event. “I’m going to get the most rapes this year. I’ve been practicing raping my sister and her friends every day. I will be rape superstar number one! I will get the Baalkrishan prize this year for sure!”

11-year-old Jaitashri Majumdar told reporters she almost did not get raped at last year’s festival. “I came so close to not getting raped. I almost got to the ‘rape-free-zone’ at the edge of town, but at the last minute 12 men jumped on me and raped me. Luckily I am just recovering now so I can participate in this year’s events, otherwise I would be put to death by stoning.”

34-year-old Paul Horner from Toronto who is visiting Punjab on business told reporters he will be missing the festivities this year. “I’m getting the f*ck out of this backwards country tonight.”

Semua maklum bahawa bidang Pengurusan Fasiliti ( FM) bermula di sekitar 70 an dan 80 an di Eropah. Bahangnya mula terasa sekitar tahun 90an di UiTM khasnya dan Malaysia.

Melihat prospek FM menjelang tahun 2020. FM akan berkembang dengan lebih pesat lagi. FM menyokong iaitu merancakkan ekonomi seperti di Malaysia. Dahulu bidang popular tertumpu pada disiplin seperti Jurutera (Kejuruteraan), Arkitek ( Senibina), Doktor (Perubatan) . Namun senario ini pasti akan berlaku perubahan yang lebih besar kerana FM berkembang pesat sehingga ke peringkat Projek Penswastaan iaitu Kampus PFI. Pejabat Pengurusan Fasiliti merupakan sangga atau jabatan yang menyokong semua aspek pembelajaran, penyelidikan, pengajaran di UiTM . 

Penjenamaan UiTM Kampus Lestari Taman Ilmu Kita Bersama bakal direalisasikan setelah aspek pengurusan anggaran perbelanjaan ( Kos operasi, Kos output), perolehan, proses kontrak, kawalan kos, latihan kompentasi berterusan dan sentiasa di tambahbaik , peningkatan kualiti penyeliaan, pemantauan, pemeriksaan keberkesanan dan peningkatan tahap kepuasan hati pelanggan . Kita perlu berpijak di bumi yang nyata tapi dengan sudut pandang masa depan (future) lebih jauh , kreatif , inovatif , mempunyai ciri – ciri kualiti perkhidmatan yang menepati, pada penggunaan kos yang amat efektif dengan harapan mewujudkan tempat kerja selamat, semangat kerja, pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keupayaan yang baik dan menepati sebagamana yang telah diajarkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW.

Risiko tetap ada. Hanya Pengurus FM yang bersedia memberikan komitmen menyeluruh tanpa mengenepikan dispilin/kepakaran sediada akan berjaya berenang sehingga ke penamat. Percayalah apa yang kita capai adalah berdasarkan apa yang kita percaya. Kekuatan akal, kekuatan peribadi dan kekuatan fizikal adalah ramuan kejayaan seorang pekerja dan kecemerlangan organisasinya.

Cisco VoIP Phone Hacked, Turned into Listening Device

Network-enabled devices such as routers and printers are notoriously insecure and fully exploitable gateways leading attackers toward network resources. A researcher and PhD student at Columbia University recently added VoIP phones to the list of pressing concerns.

Ang Cui demonstrated an attack against a Cisco-branded phone where he was able to put code on the phone by installing—and then removing—an external circuit board from the Ethernet port on the phone. Then using his smartphone, Cui was able to turn the phone into a listening device even though the phone’s Off-Hook switch was enabled.

Cui said he was also able to pull off another exploit, this time remotely, with similar results and without the need for physical access to the phone. Cui said the circuit board attack could easily and quickly be done by someone with physical access. He added that the compromise of one phone would put an organization’s network at phones at risk.

Cisco said the issue was patched in November (Bug ID: CSCuc83860).

“We can confirm that workarounds and a software patch are available to address this vulnerability, and note that successful exploitation requires physical access to the device serial port, or the combination of remote authentication privileges and non-default device settings,” Cisco said in a statement.

Cui demonstrated the attack at the recent Amphion Forum in San Francisco. He went down this road after a similar project with network-connected laser printers called Project Gunman. Cui was able to hack the printer’s firmware update and add malicious code. The code enables remote compromise of the printer inside the firewall; an attacker could steal documents with needing to physically be in the same building as the printer.

Cui said he could also use the printer as a launch pad for other network attacks.

Cui, who has also demonstrated other research on embedded devices, said that traditional security measures are not built in to these network-enabled devices making them attractive targets. Recently, US-CERT warned users of certain Samsung and Dell printers that a hardcoded password was discovered. Attackers could use this built-in authentication to remotely hack in to an organization. The attacker could also modify printer configurations, access device or network information, device credentials and anything else passed to the printer.

Prof. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas View on using Kalimah Allah by non-muslim in Malaysia.

I asked one of my 'students' who is studying Usuluddin in Cairo ro clarify the hot issue. He gave this -(Petikan ceramah Professor Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas)

Question: The using of kalimah “Allah” by other people in this country?".

Answers by Prof. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas:

Well I have been talking about this long time ago. I remember about this in ISTAC, when we first established ourselves (late 80’s and early 90’s), I think the Arcbishop of Penang was asking this question. And I have answered that.

And then we had a meeting with the Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur and about all the representatives of Christianity, including the ministers, we had a meeting at ISTAC.

And I said, “Why you want to use the word ‘Allah’ for yourself?”

They said “we are going to pray in Bahasa Malaysia".

That’s the way they put it. So my answers to them, “Why you have to change praying into Bahasa Malaysia. You have been praying in English all the time. Why suddenly change into Bahasa Malaysia?”

Ok, so they said they want to change so that it is more patriotic. Then in that case I’m saying that “why don’t you use Tuhan while praying in Bahasa Malaysia? Because you are talking about God isn’t it?…God is not just a name…”Allah” is a name of this Being whom you called God… and in fact a Being whom even higher than what you called to be God”

And then I said, “ …and “Allah” is not from Bahasa Malaysia. It is not a national language. It belongs to the language of Muslim all over the world. Therefore your argument using this for the word “Allah” does not fit into your idea of God. Because “Allah” does not have a son, It is not one of three (Trinity), that is why out of respect to Allah we can’t allow you to use this.“

But when we Muslim, when we write in English we say God, or when we talk to people we say God but we mean “Allah”…but they cannot say when they speak about God it means “Allah” as they don’t mean it.

So in this particular respect, we have to be clear about this, not was-was (hesitate)...whomever responsible in our governing, they have to be clear about this and to explain to others.
We agree you want to use God, then use Tuhan as we also use that…but we understand in the Malay language that Tuhan is not a translation of Allah..that is why we say “tiada Tuhan melainkan Allah” not “tiada Tuhan melainkan Tuhan”. We don’t say “there is not God but God”..at least the ulama’ among the Muslim Malays, we understand what is the meaning of that (word “Allah”).

So “Allah” cannot be translated as no language has translated Allah. The Arabs themselves they only use that after Islam..although the word existed (before)..the Christians Arab they also did not use Allah (in theological, epistemological and ontological sense in the same manner as the Muslim)..if they say that it is just a language..they are talking about language..because they say “Allah” like the Muslim when they (melatah)…

So it appears they want to do that in order to confuse the Muslim into thinking that all is the same..that is why I say one of the problems about religion is the nature of God..about who Allah is..that is why in Arkanul Iman (The Pillars of Faith), the first thing is “amana billah”.

“Who is this Allah?” and that need to be explain at higher institution in a proper way.

So we have answer the question. It is not proper to allow them using this, since they asking us and there is no point bringing this to court since this is not a matter of court to decide it whether they have the freedom to use it or not. It is up to the Muslims.

But then if they used it and said “in Indonesia they have use it, why can’t we?”…but it is because of the Muslims..if Muslims don’t care they will go on and use it..and in Indonesia they are using not only that, other things they even call it “choir” as “selawat”. Choir is not a “selawat”, as “selawat” is for Prophet..it’s not singing hymn.

And they also talk about..in Indonesia they are also confuse..Muslims..that is why this thing happen. Sometimes the language when you come across English words like “Prophet of Doom” in Indonesia they said “Nabi celaka”. How can there be “Nabi celaka”? What is meant by the “Prophet of Doom” is…even the word Prophet in English does not mean “Nabi” only…it means “yang meramalkan malapetaka”..that what it means…so the “Prophet of Doom” means “yang meramalkan malapetaka”, not “Nabi celaka”.

They (the Muslims in Indonesia) seem not to bother about this. What we can say is that ultimately well they say “God is not Allah”...well if you want to use the word God, we are saying we also use the word God, we refer to Allah as we know and we are not saying that your God ultimately will not refer to Allah. You can’t run away from Allah. You can only escape Him and so in the Qur’an (surah An-Naas) says: “Qul aAAoothu birabbi annas, Maliki annas, Ilahi annas”. He (Allah) is saying “ I am the real Ilah (God) of naas (mankind)”, although mankind (non-Muslim) does not interpret it that way.

The origins of PFI/PPP

Infrastructure investment in Britain declined dramatically after the 1973 oil crisis and International Monetary Fund intervention three years later. Both Labour and Conservative governments imposed substantive cuts in public sector capital spending programmes. Net public sector investment under the Labour government, £28.8bn (5.8 per cent of GDP) in 1974/75, more than halved by the end of the decade and plummeted to a mere 0.4 per cent of GDP in both 1988/89 and 1998/99. The decline in public sector investment in the last two decades occurred at the same time as the government had unprecedented privatisation receipts and North Sea Oil revenues. 

By the mid 1980s a spate of studies by the Confederation of British Industry, the Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors, and the now defunct National Economic Development Council, had exposed the deteriorating state of the infrastructure and assessed the potential impact of further cuts in capital spending. The major contractors and construction industry bodies demanded increased government capital expenditure and relaxation of the External Financing Limits on nationalised industries and PSBR controls. There was little reference to the use of private finance.

The Conservative government doubled the road building programme to £12bn and proposed that additional road schemes could be built and operated by the private sector in ‘corridors of opportunity’. The Treasury’s Ryrie rules, which required a matching reduction in public funding in response to private funding of infrastructure projects, were relaxed in 1989. 

Some British companies were involved in some commercially unsuccessful private infrastructure projects overseas, but the Thatcher government insisted that privately financed schemes should not be subsidised. A number of private sector transport schemes including the rail link to the Channel Tunnel, a second Severn Bridge, a rail link to Heathrow and the Docklands Light Railway extension were developed at this time.

By 1990, with much of the basic transport and utility infrastructure either in private ownership or planned for privatisation, contractors were lukewarm over the prospect of private roads.  They turned to other sectors such as hospitals, prisons and urban development where they believed they could obtain higher returns and access ‘surplus’ land and property for development.

The Private Finance Initiative was launched in November 1992, a financial mechanism to obtain private finance which could satisfy the political need to increase investment in the infrastructure without affecting public borrowing, guarantee large contracts for construction companies and create new investment opportunities for finance capital. 

Most politicians had a short-term perspective, but capital was looking longer term. The ‘crisis’ in the flow of PFI projects between 1995-97 was partly caused by demands for state financial guarantees and partly because PFI consortia were flexing their muscles to ensure contracts reflected their interests. In one sense, PFI was a natural progression given the Conservative’s privatisation and economic policies in the 1980s. The privatisation ‘machine’ was never going to stop, at least not of its own accord. PFI is privatisation by stealth, privatising those parts which could not, at least politically, be sold-off as complete services. It is the route to the ultimate marketisation and privatisation of health, education and social services.
